About

The Journal of Powder Materials (JPM) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the science, engineering, and technology of powder materials and powder-based processing. JPM provides a platform for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to disseminate original research and technological advances that bridge fundamental understanding and practical applications.

JPM publishes original articles, review articles, technical reports, and rapid communications covering powder materials and powder-based processing technologies, including but not limited to:

  • • Powder synthesis, production, and processing
  • • Compaction, sintering, and advanced consolidation
  • • Additive manufacturing, injection molding, and powder-based coating
  • • Structural and functional powder materials
  • • Powder materials for energy, electronics, and emerging applications

The journal also welcomes studies on the characterization, properties, testing, and industrial applications of powder materials, as well as recycling, resource recovery, and sustainable processing. Emerging approaches involving computational materials science, modeling and simulation, data-driven methodologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) are also within the scope of JPM.

Building on its strong foundation in the Korean powder materials community, JPM welcomes contributions from researchers worldwide and promotes the exchange of scientific knowledge and technological advances across the global powder materials community. By bridging fundamental research with practical and industrial applications, the journal seeks to advance powder materials science, engineering, and manufacturing.
